CO-OPERATION

Kinds of co-operation

Arkil has wide experience with all kinds of co-operation used in the building and construction sector. Regardless of which kind of co-operation we are working under, it is our declared goal to establish an open co-operative relationship, based on trust and responsibility, not confrontation and conflict - and, not least, to deliver quality on time.

Partnering
We consider partnering to be one of the future forms of collaboration. The concept of partnering matches our set of values in securing the client quality on time within the financial framework. Our organisation is well-suited for entering into partnering agreements. This means that we right from the design/planning phase start collaborating closely with the client and the consultant on choosing the right methods and finding the right and most suitable solutions to problems which can be both complex and difficult to assess. We prefer co-operation and dialogue to confrontation and conflicts. When co-operating and handling matters of doubt in advance, we help minimising the risk of things going off the rails.

In 2003, Arkil's Special Section started working on the first and largest sewerage project in Denmark under a partnering agreement with Odense Water Company and Cowi. The project was carried out with great success and in close collaboration with the client and the consultant with benefits for all as regards finances, quality as well as time.

Turnkey contracts
We also carry out turnkey projects, where we take on a larger part of the project management and take part in solving complex problems for the client. We often enter into a co-operation agreement with a partner of high repute, thereby making good use of our joint strengths and competences.

Principal contracts,  specialist subcontracts and framework agreements
Of course we also carry out principal contracts and specialist subcontracts and handle a number of long-term framework agreements which helps strenghtening relations between the client and the executing party and ensures the client a high level of service and consequently satisfied customers with a high degree of certainty of supply.
