In 2013, Arkil was contracted to renovate the historic Stændertorvet (Assembly Square), which, with its area of 10,000 m2 serves as an important landmark in Roskilde, Denmark, both in terms of tourism and commerce.

Landscape architect Charlotte Skibsted re-designed the historic town square on behalf of the Roskilde Municipality. In addition to the resurfacing work, the contract also entails the installation of outdoor seating and a green area.
Arkil collaborated with the engineering firm ingeniørfirmaet Sloth-Møller on the project. When it was all over, an area of 10,000 m² had been resurfaced at Stændertorvet.
